this is my first entry for my brand new website. i am really excited to get this started even though
there have been alot of complications already. i am going to have to bring a laptop in everyday if
i want to make my website but thats ok :)

Wednesday challenge Write up:
So we did the marshmallow tower wednesday challenge and our group failed
we had a good design except for our base was too small. other than that we cuoldnt get the supports to stick
because the tape was really bad. we got a score of 0cm but nathans group also got 0cm so its ok :)

9/11/17

so today is monday so not looking forward to the day. luckily we have a fun design challenge. we are building
a ramp for a student in a wheelchair so she can get into the garden beds in her gardening class.i think this is super
cool because we are actually working on something important and not just a spaghetti bridge. we are going to see this
built out for real and used by the school. i am really looking forward to making our design.

so today we went into the lab and started working no our websites again. we also started reaserch on the ramps
we are making and i found a really good website for finding the maximum and minimum slopes for a ramp. this is really
important because wiithout that information we could build an illegal ramp.

9/13/17

Today we did the marshmallow challenge again. this time we worked from the top down. that way we knew it was going to be
stable throughout all stages of the challenge. we didnt have the tallest bridge but by the end all the other tall ones fell
over so we did win. this was really fun because we had a score of 0 last time.

Today we were in the computer lab working on our design challenge and websites. i updated my website a bunch and then started
looking at ramp regulations so we can properly dseign our ramp to legal codes. i dont know what my team was doinng because we
were not sitting together but they were probably updating their websites.

today we had to write up a wednesday challenge for our websites and my code worked first time. i am really pruod of that
i also got to do some reworking of our google docs for the ramp challenge. however i didnt have much time to work on that.

Today we worked on the power point updating our websites. i worked on getting the wedsnesday challenge form on my website and it worked
first time! this is amazing because it never works first time.

today i an going back to the reasearch on slopes and regulations and i am adding it to the power point.

I was sick today so i didnt come to school.

Today we went out and measured all the lengths we needed and then we came back and i calculated all the costs
and then i put it on the power point. we were also discussing making a bed for her because there is a
raised wall that we can make the bed on.

I wasnt at school today for the first couple of periods today. i was at a consoltation to get my wisdom
teeth pulled. it wasnt fun and i would rather be in school.

today i tried to use another cad program on the school computers but NOPE! you can tell its really cheap software
it is terrible and only has a few types of shapes. i dont know how im going to get this cad done if i cant even work on it

Today i am working on the ramp cad and it is taking me forever this is the third cad i have done because i wasnt happpy
with the program i used for the other two. i finally just did it at hoe on sketchup.

today we are going over our presentation making sure we are all set for wednesday. we had a few changes in the cad
but other than that everything looks good.

Today is the day before presenting and we are going over everything outside. we are running the presentation
a few times and then we are going to work on our how it works device presentation.

today we are presenting our ramp designs to the class and some important school officials.this is really important
because we have been working on this for months. i think it went well except for we messed up the timeline thinking
it meant our personal timeline. luckily another group made the same mistake so it wasnt too bad.

Today we are working on the spaghetti bridge challenge :( this is probably my least favorite challenge. especially because everyone
makes the same type of bridge. it isnt going to be that bad this year however because we have hot glue!

today we are just working on our how it works presentations and i got mine done. well almost done. on monday i
will finish it up but then i can update everything.

Today i am getting to my website. i have alot to update and because im done with my how it works project i am
able to spend all day on the updates. i am going to go from today and go backwards from there until im done.

Today we did sketchup with kevin and i made a pacman. it was pretty boring because we already knew sketchup but
it was an easy day.

Today we are trying to finish up our bridge and we started making the new design to use small triangles
we also came up with a good method where i would cut the noodles and then someone would glue it.

Today we are back from a long weekend and we are getting into sketchup. i am sketching an iphone and its looking
really good.

my iphone is done and it looks really good.

So during the egg drop i was not here for most of it because i was getting heart surgery and then i was away at competition so i was only here for the final day where the eggs were dropped. i dont know anything about my teams design process but i was able to see everyones design so i got a pretty good idea about what design worked and what didn't i think our idea would have worked better however it was too small so it cracked under the fall and it left the egg exposed.

These are my inventor files. we made an iphone and iphone case. we also made a final 3d printed object. we then combined them. this is my project and i really like how it turned out however, i wish we used sketchup. my iphone is better on sketchup.

so for my 3d printing project i imported a picture of the lion king sketch and traced it out with the arc tool. after that i extruded the to be a little thicker than my hand. i the fixed a few issues with the trace because some corners werent right. after that i added a top and my sketch was done. I picked this because the 3d printer would be easily able to replicate it and it s somethig cool for my desk. i love the lion kind and i already have a few desk trinkets and so i thought this would match perfectly . the best part is tat it is easy but still looks cool and can be easily made by the printer.

there isnt much about me that is interesting. i like to play videogames and do robotics. i also do welding club.
i like playing league of legends and rust. i play with people from all over the world and its lots of fun. i have a picture
of me on top of my website.
